Daniel Blackman | Daniel Blackman is a graphic designer and art director based in the Philadelphia Area. He holds a  BFA in Graphic and Interactive Communication from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. He specializes in branding, art direction, illustration, logos, posters, annual reports, invitations, book covers, web design, strategy and concept. His clients include Loyola University, Nike, Caterpillar, MTV, HUB, Michigan State, DeLonghi, HangTen and American Eagle. The images above are from a branding project for DePaul University. I really love the layering in this project, the beautiful type treatments and fantastic  typography combined wonderfully with lovely photographs. 

At DePaul University, students are not harbored from the larger world; they’re encouraged to look outward and engage with the diversity of people and experiences that Chicago provides. Because of the school’s singular location and deep roots in the Chicago community, there are no distinctions between campus and city, classmates and citizens, theoretical learning and hands-on experience.
