Stefanie Golla | With outstanding aesthetics and spectacular typography Stefanie Golla created her bachelor thesis, One for All - long live the queen, seven thread-bound magazines about bees. Stefanie Golla is a designer based in Germany. She holds a BA in Communication Design from School of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and is currently pursuing a Master in Information Design.

In my bachelor thesis I have dealt with the honey bees of my father. The aim of my thesis was to expand my knowledge of bees to try this super-organism coming closer and to explain the aesthetics, ingenuity and fascination in the viewer of this insect photographs and texts. I’ve tried, especially with all the classic issues to deal without drifting too far into the biology or to make a reference book for the beginner beekeeping. Honey bees are simply and solely be perceived as aesthetic beings, which are capable of making unbelievable too much in her short life.
