Christopher Bettig | I admire designers/artsist that mix and match at their craft having a wide range, Christopher Bettig is one of these special types. You can’t but love his store instillation for J Crew creating a fascinating half heart pattern. Christopher Bettig is a designer, art director and illustrator born in France, raised in New York, in love with Los Angles and currently based in San Francisco. Christopher holds a BFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He worked as an Art Director at Urban Outfitters and is currently working as a Senior Designer at Google. His clients include Converse, Keds, Mountain Dew, Nike, Puma, Scoop NYC, Threadless Select and Warner Bros.

I designed and constructed a 30 foot tall permanent installation in the J Crew shop right in the heart of Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. The installation is right in the entryway of the store and is visible while outside in the plaza. It is made from a variety of woods (poplar, pine, cedar & mahogany), molding & rope.
